Gently smooth a small quantity of Metsal Cream into the skin 2-3 times a day. The cream penetrates to provide relief from pain. Vigorous rubbing is not required. – Sport: Apply before, during and after sport to relieve sports sprains, strains, muscle and joint pain. – Before Sport: Apply before sport and warm up before activity. During Sport: Apply to sore and tired muscles and joints to relieve pain. After Sport: Apply to muscles and joints to relieve pain associated with sprains, strains and sore muscles. – When injured: Rest: Rest injury for at least 48-72 hours. Ice: Apply ice to injured area immediately for 20 minutes every 2 hours to reduce swelling and pain. Compress: Wrap injury with compression bandage. Elevation: Elevate injured area to reduce swelling and pain. – Recovery: Metsal Heat Rub Cream can be applied to muscles and joints once the swelling has subsided.
